Honoring the Entrepreneurial Spirit of Amos O. Webster, Jr.

In 2023, the family of the late Amos O. Webster, Jr., an astute businessman, established a fund to support the entrepreneurial endeavors of a Tennessee State University alum - his beloved alma mater. The fund provided non-dilutive grants to two budding entrepreneurs. Faith Cornelius Wimberly – founder and CEO of Maven Recruiting & Consulting in Chicago, IL – and Ramerra Reno – owner of B3 Boutique in Nashville, TN – were recipients of the inaugural grant, receiving $5,000 and $2,500, respectively.

The 2024 grant application process will open on August 1, with a submission deadline of September 12, 2024 at 11:59PM. We invite the Tennessee State University community, including alumni, friends, and family, to contribute to the fund and honor Amos O. Webster, Jr.'s legacy of giving back.
